A message from The CEO

This a very special moment in Trussway’s history.  Fifty years ago, on Lumpkin Road in Houston, Texas, Trussway was founded by Dick Rotto.  Rotto had no experience in building trusses, however, he had a keen business mind and an eye for finding the right talent to build his company.

During the next two decades Rotto and his growing team would set in motion many forward-thinking, industry-changing actions that would revolutionize our industry, mastering open web floor truss design, window and door openings, and a process for the mass production of trusses to better service the exploding multi-family housing market.

And during the last five decades, through economic ups and downs, business challenges, and a once-in-a-lifetime global pandemic, Dick Rotto’s founding premise has never wavered:  Passion for service to our customers–from project inception, to design, estimating, production, delivery, and ultimately to the final build.  The high intensity attention-to-detail we commit to every phase of this process has and continues to define Trussway’s reputation in this industry.

As we look back in recognition of our history, and look forward to a very bright future, one thing has always been constant at Trussway:  Our people.  While it may sound like a cliché, it truly is our people that are the difference.  Their dedication, resilience, and loyalty always stand out: through good times and in bad, hot and cold weather, snowstorms and hurricanes—you name it–whatever it takes to meet the needs of our customers.   They clearly are The Trussway Difference.

As for our next 50 years, our future is incredibly bright.  We have a great team of people in place and customers who truly are our partners.  I have every confidence our legacy will continue burning brightly for many years to come.  Thank you!

We are One Trussway: One Team, One Company, One Vision.
